Hey there,
On the grand meh-scale of the universe, September proudly ranked a 9 out of 10.
I didn’t have to handle back-to-school chaos (and if you did, I bow to you).
But I did spend the month un-pretzeling from “Can I really juggle three torches while riding a unicycle blindfolded?”
Here’s what survived the shake-up—in threes, because I’m superstitious like that:
Woven Arcana is now Botanical Rebellion.
Same artist. Same flower-drenched metaphors.
But a sharper name for what this work has always been about—beauty that won’t bend. My art has always whispered that flowers aren’t just pretty; they’re unruly, untamed, and unapologetically alive.
Time the name caught up. More on this in the next email.
I finished the first draft of my book. Yeah.
The whole damn thing. 64,198 words of what I’m calling Botanical Noir—cozy mystery meets floral menace, set in Montreal, where a cheese-obsessed acolyte can’t stop meddling and the flowers know more than they’re saying.
No graphic gore, just murder that pairs well with a good eggs Benedict and a side of suspicion. Now comes revision: the part where I decide which darlings to kill and which to let bloom.

Botanical Rebellion is launching on Etsy later this month.
New designs. Established platform.
I’m making this easy for you—because in 2025, we all need a trusted marketplace just to feel safe buying art online. Smart business, not a compromise.
Speaking of trust: I just got hit with a phishing email so convincing I fell for it and had to shut down my card mid-panic. If it seems too good to be true? It’s trying to steal your money.
Same goes for quick-fix self-help promises. Trust your gut. She’s been mixing this drink longer than any phishing scammer.
You’ll get the Etsy link the second it’s live.
Thanks for riding out the fog with me. October blooms with teeth. 🖤
